RABAT, Sept 21 (Reuters) - France Telecom's chief executive Stephane Richard said on Tuesday he aims to increase his company's newly-acquired stake in Moroccan telecoms operator Meditel to 49 percent by 2015.
Speaking at a news conference in the Moroccan capital to announce France Telecom's acquisition of a 40 percent stake in Meditel, Richard also said there was a plan to list Meditel shares on the Casablanca stock exchange next year.
Anas Alami, CEO of Moroccan state investment vehicle and Meditel shareholder CDG, told Reuters that details of the listing would depend on market conditions.
