JEFFERIES
The investment bank said it appointed Peter T. Santry as a managing director and head of distressed trading in its leveraged finance sales and trading division.
Santry joins from Chapdelaine & Co, where he was head of leveraged products and built a high yield, bank loan and distressed debt trading business.
NOMURA
The investment bank said it appointed Rig Karkhanis as head of fixed income, Singapore. Karkhanis joins from Millennium Partners, Singapore, where he was a portfolio manager.
The firm also said it appointed Jerry Kern as senior adviser, and Charles Fisher, Roy Kabla and Michael Pitts to its Americas Investment Banking Media team.
CITIGROUP INC
The bank said it hired several people to its equity business in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA).
Ian Colville joins as a managing director and head of Russian equity sales, while Ben Cowley joins as a director and head of CEEMEA equity sales in London.
The bank also appointed Conrad Scheurkogel as a director and head of CEEMEA equity sales in New York and Graeme Franck as a director and head of sales in South Africa, based in Johannesburg.
GAM
The unit of GAM Holding AG said it named Andrew Jenkins to join its UK private client team as a Portfolio Director. He will report to Jonathan Colchester, head of private clients (UK). Jenkins joins from Barclays Wealth, where he was a director.
AXA REAL ESTATE
The unit of AXA group said it appointed Jean-Francois Le Teno as global head of sustainable development. He will take over from Gilles Bouteloup who will retire in the beginning of October.
COLLINS STEWART WEALTH MANAGEMENT
The unit of Collins Stewart Plc said it hired Murray Montgomery as head of business development in the Channel Islands. He will report to Grahame Lovett, CEO of CSWM Offshore. Murray joins from Kleinwort Benson, a unit of RHJ International SA.
ARBUTHNOT SECURITIES
The investment banking unit of Arbuthnot Banking Group said it appointed Adam Lloyd as director of corporate broking.
The firm also hired Andrew Kitchingman as a director in corporate finance and Emma Harrison as investor relations manager within the corporate broking team.
