ISLAMABAD, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Pakistan trade deficit widened to $1.16 billion in September from $911 million in September last year, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said on Saturday.
Exports stood at $1.61 billion in September this year, against $1.50 billion a year ago. Imports were worth $2.78 billion, compared with $2.41 billion in September last year.
The country's trade deficit for the first three-months of the 2010/11 fiscal year was $3.85 billion compared with $3.14 billion in the year-ago period.
