HOUSTON, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Enbridge Inc's 670,000 barrel per day (bpd) Pipeline 6A was back in operation on Sunday after a sleeve was placed a portion of the pipe in Wisconsin to prevent a leak, said a company spokesman.
The line, which is a main artery for Canadian oil exports to U.S. Midwest refineries was shut on Friday after a weakness was found in the line in northern Wisconsin.
Line 6A restarted on Saturday night. It was the second time in as many months Calgary-based Enbridge has shut Line 6A for repairs.
