MELBOURNE, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Brambles Ltd, the world's top pallet supplier, will pay 923 million euros ($1.3 million) for Germany's IFCO Systems, a provider of reusable plastic containers, to diversify its sales.
Brambles said the business would be 5 percent earnings-accretive on the year to June 2011.
Brambles said it remains on track for operating profit before interest costs and tax of US$740-780 million. Sales for the four months to October rose 2 percent on an increase in sales volumes in all four of its business units, Brambles said on Monday.
