CAIRO, Dec 25 (Reuters) - Egypt's GDP is expected to grow by about 5.8 to 6 percent in the fiscal year to end-June 2011, the ruling National Democratic Party said in a statement on Saturday.
The government had been predicting growth of 6 percent during the year, up from 5.1 in 2009-10 and 4.7 percent in 2008-09.
'GDP growth in the financial year 2010/2011 is expected to reach about 5.8 to 6 percent,' the National Democratic Party's statement said.
