WASHINGTON, Jan 3 (Reuters) - U.S. House Republicans plan to pass a bill next week to repeal President Barack Obama's overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system, a senior party aide said on Monday.
The aide said the House vote would occur on Jan. 12 and it would win passage in the new Republican-led chamber. But Democrats control the U.S. Senate and are likely to block any attempt to scrap the healthcare law, one of Obama's signature legislative victories.
