NEW YORK, Jan 25 (Reuters) - The outlook for Florida's Tampa International Airport has turned to negative from stable, Fitch Ratings said on Tuesday, citing uncertainty about passenger traffic and revenue recovery after a downturn.
Fitch affirmed the credit rating at AA- for approximately $692 million of outstanding revenue bonds.
'Credit concerns focus largely on the airport's recent trend of declining enplanement levels, and the resulting erosion in coverage in 2009 and 2010 to levels below their historic averages,' Fitch said in a statement.
