* Some previously approved US arms sales to Egypt have been halted
* total value of Egypt arms that were 'in the pipeline' was in billions of dollars
* U.S. government discussing possible sale of ships and equipment with Saudi Arabia that could exceed $20 billion in value, depending on details
* that Defense Secretary Robert Gates delivered a letter of agreement to Saudi Arabia for the Boeing F-15 sales during his visit to the country on April 6, but it had not yet been signed.
