HOUSTON, April 11 (Reuters) - PG&E Corp's Pacific Gas and Electric utility has asked nuclear regulators to delay the processing of an application to extend the life of its two-unit Diablo Canyon nuclear plant in California while it works to complete additional seismic studies.
The utility sent a letter to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission seeking a delay, citing the nuclear crisis in Japan.
