WASHINGTON, May 10 (Reuters) - Top U.S. lawmakers made progress on Tuesday during a second meeting aimed at finding a way to raise the country's soon-to-be-reached debt limit, participants said.
Democratic Senator Max Baucus said the meeting was 'better than the last one,' while Vice President Joe Biden, also a Democrat, said the group made progress.
The group will next meet on Thursday, Baucus said.
