HOUSTON, May 29 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp's 150,000 barrel per day refinery in Torrance, California, reported flaring on Saturday, according to notices filed with California pollution regulators.
Exxon did not identify the cause of the flaring at the Los Angeles-area refinery but said it was not due to a mechanical breakdown. Sulfur dioxide was released into the air during the flaring, according to the notices.
