
DALLAS (dpa-AFX) - Internet technology provider Eolas Technologies Inc. said that it has reached a licensing agreement with Dallas-based Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) covering two Eolas patents that enable Internet browsers to host embedded interactive applications. The company said that the agreement with Texas Instruments resolves legal claims related to two Eolas patents.
Eolas said that it previously reached licensing agreements with Playboy Enterprises International Inc. (PLA), New Frontier Media (NOOF), Oracle Corp. (ORCL), as successor to defendant Sun Microsystems; JPMorgan Chase (JPM ); and Newton, Mass.-based Argosy Publishing Inc.
Eolas Technologies noted that Companies still named as defendants in the lawsuit include Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE), Amazon.com (AMZN), Apple Inc. (AAPL).
