WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Regency Centers Corp. (REG) reported that its third-quarter Funds From Operations FFO was $56.0 million, or $0.62 per share, compared to $51.7 million or $0.62 per share in the year ago quarter.
Regency reported Recurring Funds From Operations for the third quarter of $54.9 million, or $0.61 per share, compared to $50.4 million and $0.60 per share for the same period in 2010. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.59 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Net income attributable to common stockholders for the quarter was $8.5 million, or $0.09 per share, compared to $7.9 million and $0.09 per share for the same period in 2010.
On November 1, 2011, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.4625 per share, payable on November 30, 2011 to shareholders of record on November 16, 2011.
For fiscal 2011, Funds From Operations per share are now expected to in the range of $2.45 - $2.51, compared to prior outlook of $2.45 - $2.55.
Recurring FFO per share for fiscal 2011 are now anticipated to be between $2.34 and $2.40, compared to prior outlook of $2.33 - $2.43.
Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $2.37 per share for fiscal 2011.
