HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - The Bank of Korea is on Friday scheduled to conclude its monetary policy meeting and then announce its decision on interest rates, highlighting a modest day for Asian economic activity. The bank is widely expected to keep rates on hold at 3.25 percent.

India will announce September numbers for industrial production, with forecasts calling for an increase of 3.8 percent on year following the 4.1 percent gain in August.
Hong Kong will provide Q3 numbers for gross domestic product, with analysts expecting GDP to expand 4.2 percent on year after collecting 5.1 percent in the previous three months.
Japan will release the results of October's corporate goods price index and September's tertiary industry activity index. CGPI is expected to add an annual 2.2 percent after collecting 2.5 percent in September. The tertiary index is tipped to fall 0.5 percent on month after easing 0.2 percent in August.
