CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Japan is on Wednesday scheduled to release final October numbers for industrial production, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Little change is expected from last month's preliminary reading that showed a monthly increase of 2.4 percent and an annual increase of 0.4 percent, while capacity utilization was down 3.6 percent on month.
India will provide November numbers for wholesale price inflation, with WPI tipped to come in at 9.04 percent - easing from 9.73 percent in October.
South Korea will release November's unemployment rate, with forecasts suggesting a rate of 3.2 percent - up from 3.1 percent in October.
Australia will see the release of December's consumer confidence survey from Westpac. The November survey saw an increase of 6.3 percent to a score of 103.4.
