HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - Hong Kong is on Monday scheduled to release the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for November, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic news. The rate is expected to hold steady at 3.3 percent.
Japan will release November department store sales figures, both nationwide and just for the Tokyo region. Nationwide sales eased 0.5 percent on year in October, while Tokyo sales saw a decline of 1.9 percent.
Finally, New Zealand will release the results of the NBNZ December surveys for business confidence and activity outlook. Confidence saw a score of 18.3 in November, while activity came in at 28.8.
