TOKYO (dpa-AFX) - Singapore is scheduled to release key November numbers on Friday, including inflation and industrial production, to headline a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic news.
The inflation rate is expected to come in at 5.4 percent, unchanged from the previous month. Industrial output is tipped to climb 12.4 percent on year but fall 8.9 percent on month. That follows the 24.4 percent annual growth and the 14.2 percent monthly gain in October.
Taiwan will provide November figures for commercial sales and industrial production. Sales are expected to add 2.58 percent on year after collecting 1.79 percent in October. Output is tipped to fall 2.8 percent on year after rising 1.41 percent in the previous month.
Finally, the markets in Japan are closed on Friday in honor of the emperor's birthday. They will re-open on Monday.
