WOLFSBURG (dpa-AFX) - German auto giant Volkswagen AG (VOW.BE, VLKAF.PK, VKW.L) has agreed to stop sending emails to its employees on their Blackberry devices when they are off-shift, according to several media reports.
As per the deal, the servers stop routing emails 30 minutes after the end of employees' shifts, and then start again 30 minutes before they return to work.
The reports said that the employees can still use their devices to make calls and the rule does not apply to senior management.
