MOUNTAIN VIEW (dpa-AFX) - An Indian court on Saturday ordered 22 social networking websites to remove all objectionable content such as anti-religious or anti-social content. The websites include Facebook, Google Inc. (GOOG), and Yahoo Inc.(YHOO).
All the websites have until February 6 2012 to submit compliance reports to the court detailing actions taken to remove the objectionable and derogatory contents from the websites, the report said.
Additional Civil Judge Mukesh Kumar reportedly said evidence presented in the case represented 'content of defamation and derogation against the sentiments of every community.'
