NORFOLK (dpa-AFX) - Norfolk Southern Corp. (NSC) said Tuesday that its Board of Directors has voted to increase the regular quarterly dividend on the company's common stock by 9.3%, or $0.04 per share, from $0.43 to $0.47 per share.
The increased dividend is payable on March 10 to shareholders of record on Feburary 3. Since its inception in 1982, Norfolk Southern has paid dividends on its common stock for 118 consecutive quarters.
