CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - The Australian dollar held steady against major rivals after the releasing of AiG Performance of Manufacturing Index report for the month of January in early Asian deals on Wednesday. According to the latest report released by the Australian Industry Group, the Australian PMI expanded slightly in the month, up 1.4 points to 51.6 At present, the Aussie is worth 81.04 against the yen, 1.0629 versus the greenback, 1.2868 against the NZ dollar and 1.2321 versus the euro.
