WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Quality Systems Inc. (QSII) said it expects fourth-quarter net income betwen $14 million and $16 million, earnings per share between $0.24 and $0.27, on revenues between $107 million and $111 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimate earnings per share of $0.38 and revenue of $116.10 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
For fiscal 2012, the company sees net income of $75 million - $77 million, earnings per share of $1.27 - $1.30, on revenues of $428 million - $431 million. Analysts project earnings of $1.41 per share on $436.99 million revenue for the full year.
Chief Executive noted, 'Although the 2012 fourth quarter results were impacted due to delays associated with both the closing of several fourth quarter opportunities and recognition of revenue related to a large customer implementation project, we are focused on continuing to develop and provide enhanced solutions that address the rapidly changing healthcare landscape.'
