ASSLAR (dpa-AFX) - German vacuum pumps maker Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (PFFVF.PK, PVTCY.PK) said that following the approval of shareholders, a dividend of 2.65 euros per share would be paid out on May 22.
In his speech at the Annual General Meeting held Thursday, Manfred Bender, CEO of Pfeiffer Vacuum, said, 'We are optimistic that the positive trend that began at the end of last year will continue, so that we will be able to generate sufficient liquidity in the current year as well. Larger investments in form of acquisitions are presently not planned.'
As already disclosed, annual sales of 406.6 million euros had been slightly below the preceding year's level. Order intake in the first quarter of 2015 totaled 120.3 million euros.
Based on the very good order intake in the first quarter, as well as continuous strong demand from the Analytics and Semiconductor industry, the firm expects full year 2015 sales within a range of 430 - 450 million euros and a noticeable increase in operating profit and of the EBIT margin compared to the prior year.
