BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence index for August is expected at 10.00 am ET Tuesday. The consensus is for 120.6, slightly down from 121.1 in the prior month.
Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback rose against the pound, it held steady against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 1.2020 against the euro, 108.70 against the yen, 1.2938 against the pound and 0.9463 against the franc as of 9:55 am ET.
