The personal-finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of retiree-friendliness of the 150 largest U.S. cities across 40 key metrics.
Those at the bottom are considered the worst cities to retire.
Beware of the negative factors mentioned here, so that you can avoid the Early Bird specials in these cities (many of which are in California, where the weather is premo but life is hard for old-timers.)
