WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - We all know that moving can be a real pain in the rear, but sometimes it's the best thing for you.
It's something we all go through -- an average American can expect to change his/her residence around 11 times in a lifetime.
The key in either case is to choose a place where your life is comfortable - economically as well as in overall well-being.
To help Americans plan an ideal new place to settle while maintaining the best quality of life, the personal-finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 150 most populated U.S. cities across 41 key metrics.
They were ranked on the basis of a comparative study of essential family dynamics, including the cost of buying a new house, the quality of local educational institutions and health-care systems, and avenues for fun and recreation.
Each city was graded on a 100-point scale, with the ranking decided on total points scored in five key factors: Family Fun, Health & Safety, Education & Child Care, Affordability and Socio-economics.
