NEW DELHI (dpa-AFX) - India's merchandise trade deficit for January widened from a year ago, figures from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry showed Thursday.
The visible trade deficit increased to $16.30 billion from $9.90 billion in the same month last year.
On year, exports grew 9.07 percent and imports rose 26.10 percent.
