BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - At 4:00 am ET Friday, German Ifo business climate index for January is due. Ahead of the data, the euro climbed against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 124.43 against the yen, 1.1281 against the franc, 0.8658 against the pound and 1.1323 against the greenback as of 3:55 am ET.
