BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT (dpa-AFX) - Renault SA (RNSDY.PK, RNSDF.PK, RNT.L), French automobile major, posted a rise in revenue for the third-quarter, particularly reflecting an increase in revenues from automotive and sales financing divisions.
For the third-quarter, the auto maker posted its consolidated revenue at 9.782 billion euros, higher than last year's 8.120 billion euros.
Automotive division posted revenue of 8.950 billion euros, compared with 7.355 billion euros of previous year period.
Revenue from sales financing moved up to 823 million euros from 759 million euros, registered for the third-quarter of 2022.
Thierry Piéton, Chief Financial Officer of Renault Group, said: '.The growth of the activity in the 3rd quarter continues to reflect our commercial policy focused on value, set up for 2 years now: improvement of the pricing policy, optimization of commercial discounts and priority to the most profitable channels. The Group is also beginning to benefit from the renewal of the range with the promising start of Renault Megane E-tech Electric and the successful launch of Dacia Jogger. Renault Austral, which is currently being launched, reinforces the Group's return to the C segment.'
