LONDON (dpa-AFX) - The Office of Communications or Ofcom, UK's communications regulator, said on Wednesday that BT Group PLC's (BT) Openreach Ltd. has issued notice to it for new fibre-to-the-premises or FTTP pricing arrangements.
The company intends to put in the new pricing arrangement with effect from April 1, 2023.
Ofcom said that will now consider whether the notified offer raises competition concerns requiring intervention.
The regulator also expects to publish a consultation by early February, following which the stakeholders will have a 30 day period to respond.
