Earnings: $1.46 billion in Q1 vs. -$493 million in the same period last year. EPS: $3.93 in Q1 vs. -$1.33 in the same period last year. Excluding items, Prudential Financial reported adjusted earnings of $990 million or $2.66 per share for the period.
