ECHING (dpa-AFX) - Kontron AG (KOTRF.PK, KOTFY.PK), a German technology company, said on Tuesday that it has inked a contract of over 30 million euros to provide fiber optic solutions for a major undisclosed telecom firm in Germany.
The implementation of the project is scheduled to start next year.
Kontron's Slovenian unit for broadband solutions will support the telecom operator with its server systems and software for the operation and optimization of the optical broadband rollout in Germany.
Within the project scope, Kontron said that it will develop specialized IoT software features contributing to a technologically leading solution aimed at optimizing the rollout of the optical network in Germany.
