Summa Defence Plc's subsidiary Lännen Tractors Oy has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the Ukrainian market with the Ukrainian company Ibis Motor LLC. The agreement covers the marketing, sales and aftermarket services of Lännen and Lundberg multifunctional machines throughout Ukraine.
The cooperation is a significant strategic step for Lännen Tractors, as the company prepares for Ukraine's future large-scale reconstruction, which is widely regarded as the largest reconstruction market in the world by scale. Lännen multifunction machines are designed for demanding infrastructure and maintenance tasks where versatility, efficiency and operational reliability are essential.
"In the reconstruction of Ukraine, focus will be exactly on those applications for which the Lännen multifunction machines are built. Line construction and rail-equipped Lännen machines are ideally suited for the construction and repair of power, telecommunications and railway infrastructure - all critical to the functioning of society," says Veli Ollila, CEO of Lännen Tractors Oy.
A strong local partner supporting long-term market development
Ibis Motor is a Ukrainian importer and distributor of machinery and specialised equipment. The company represents several well-known Finnish brands, and its expertise is focused on demanding specialised applications, particularly in infrastructure, road construction and maintenance.
Ibis Motor operates its own service centre as well as mobile service teams, enabling the company to provide installation, commissioning, maintenance and warranty services anywhere in Ukraine. This ensures reliable deployment of the Lännen and Lundberg machines and comprehensive support throughout the entire machine lifecycle.
