LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Shell plc (SHEL) on Tuesday said it currently expects Integrated Gas production of 610,000-650,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (kboe/d) in the second quarter, up from its previous guidance of 580,000-640,000 kboe/d.
However, the outlook remains below the 909,000 kboe/d produced in the first quarter, reflecting the impact of the Middle East conflict on Qatari volumes.
Shell also increased its LNG liquefaction guidance to 7.4-7.8 million tonnes (MT) from 6.8-7.4 MT previously, although the forecast remains below the 7.9 MT reported in the first quarter.
In the Upstream segment, Shell now expects production of 1.75 million-1.85 million kboe/d, compared with its earlier outlook of 1.62 million-1.82 million kboe/d. First-quarter production in the segment was 1.843 million kboe/d.
